PETER LUNDIN
Light Designer
 
Peter Lundin (born 1965, Karlstad) is based in Stockholm.
 
Peter worked as Lighting Director at the Cullberg Ballet, 2001 - 2012.
Between 2002-2008, he made various light designs for the Workshops at Cullberg
Ballet as well as their 40th jubilee performance in 2007. He also created the light
design for Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s End, in 2006.
 
In 2011 Peter designed the lighting for Johan Inger´s In-Exact at the Ballet de Monte
Carlo, as well as Rain Dogs and Tempus Fugit (2013) at Ballet Basel. The latest collaboration with Johan Inger was Bliss, by Aterbaletto, in 2016. For the Swedish dance company ”Norrdans”, Peter has designed the productions of Beautiful Beast (2013), choreography by Thomas Noone, and Middle of Nowhere (2014) by Fernando Melo. Before he joined Cullberg Ballet, Peter was Light Director at Riksteatern, Stockholm from 1995 – 2001. At Riksteatern he designed the light for various touring productions.Between 1989 – 1995 he worked at Värmlandsoperan, Karlstad, as Light Director and Designer. Designs include: Wizard of Oz, The Magic Flute and Kavaljererna på Ekeby (also for TV).
 
Other works includes several exhibitions, TV shows and theatrical productions.
 
Peter is co-owner in Qpoint - a company providing staff, and designers for the entertainment and event industry.
