Tenor Marty Coyle is quickly garnering attention in the New York classical music scene. He was most recently seen as a featured soloist in the US premiere of Nico Muhly's My Days in a concert with the world-renowned Fretwork and The Saint Thomas Choir. He has also recently performed with such groups as The Clarion Ensemble, American Classical Orchestra and the Octavo Singers.  Marty is a current member of the Metropolitan Opera Extra Chorus as well as a regular chorister with the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys in New York City. His most recent appearance on the operatic stage was as Pang in Puccini's Turandot with Toledo Opera. While studying as an Apprentice Singer at Opera Theatre Saint Louis with the Gerdine Young Artist Program, Marty covered the roles of Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni and Augustus Gloop in Peter Ash's The Golden Ticket. He sang as an Oompa Loompa while also covering the role of Grandpa Joe in The Golden Ticket with Wexford Festival Opera in Irelandin 2010.  Marty received his Bachelor's Degree in Music from The Pennsylvania State University and his Master's Degree in Music from The Juilliard School.
