Detective story of a Parisian goldsmith
A key work of German music-dramatic literature and one of the biggest works of operatic literature of the 20th century – an impressive opera in three acts from 1926 based on the story by German romantic author E. T. A. Hoffmann The girl from Scuderi. It’s a mysterious detective story of Parisian goldsmith from 17th century; there are unexplainable murders happening in connection with his products which terrify the whole city.
