Born in San Giovanni Rotondo, he began his dance training with Rita Ripoli at the age of 6. In 2002, he enrolled at the Teatro alla Scala Academy in Milan, graduating in 2007 and winning first prize at the Premio delle Arti in Rome. That same year, he joined the corps de ballet of Teatro alla Scala, where, under the direction of Elisabetta Terabust, he performed soloist roles in works by Jiří Kylián, Roland Petit, John Neumeier, Maurice Béjart, and William Forsythe.
Driven by a desire to broaden his artistic horizons, he increasingly sought out new and physically demanding challenges, exploring a wide range of choreographic styles. In 2011, he moved to Dresden to join the Semperoper Ballet, where he was promoted to First Soloist in 2018.
During his years with the company, he performed works by internationally renowned choreographers including George Balanchine, Kenneth MacMillan, Frederick Ashton, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Mats Ek, and Twyla Tharp. Among the roles that have most significantly shaped his career are Oreste in Pina Bausch’s “Iphigenia auf Tauris”, Don José in Johan Inger’s “Carmen”, and the leading role in Jiří Kylián’s “Gods and Dogs” and “Faun(e)” by David Dawson.
He also performed in works created specifically for the Semperoper Ballet by David Dawson, Pontus Lidberg, Alexander Ekman, Hofesh Shechter, Stijn Celis, and Johan Inger.
In 2018, he worked as choreographic assistant on Joseph Hernandez’s “Songs for a Siren” for the Semperoper Ballet.
Between 2024 and 2025, he collaborated on several projects with the 4Rooms Company. In 2024, he participated in Tanzwoche Sylt as both a dancer and choreographer. That same year, he worked as assistant choreographer to Jiří Bubeníček for the Bubeníček International Ballet Gala in Prague and graduated in Psychological Sciences and Techniques.
In 2025, together with Seraphine Detscher and Brian Scalini, he co-created “CANVAS”, which premiered at the Societaetstheater Dresden.
In February 2026, he took part in the premiere of “Orfeo ed Euridice” at Stadttheater Klagenfurt in Austria. The production was directed by Carolin Pienkos and Cornelius Obonya, with choreography by Riccardo De Nigris. He performed as a dancer and also served as dance captain during the rehearsal process.
He subsequently joined the production of John Adams’s “Antony and Cleopatra” at Theater Koblenz in Germany, directed by Markus Dietze and choreographed by Andreas Heise.
