Chun Yin Chan was born in Hong Kong. He received his first dance training at the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet in Hong Kong, where he studied from 2015 to 2024. From 2024 to 2026, he continued his studies at the English National Ballet School in London. From 2018 to 2025, he also took part in the International Summer Dance School summer programme in Hong Kong.
Through his collaboration with English National Ballet, he appeared in The Nutcracker as the Drosselmeyer Assistant and the Soldier (choreography by Aaron S. Watkin and Arielle Smith).
From 2017 to 2023, he successfully took part in the Hong Kong Ballet Group Stars Award competition.
Since the 2026/2027 season, Chun Yin Chan has been a member of NDM Ballet as corps de ballet with soloist obligations.
