Theo Shirt was born in Barnsley, England. From 2022 to 2025, he studied at the Central School of Ballet in London. During his training, he also took part in the Royal Ballet School Senior Associates programme (2021-2023) and the Northern Ballet Academy (2017-2019), as well as international courses held by Northern Ballet in Leeds (2023), the Staatliche Ballett- und Artistikschule Berlin (2024), and the Nasco Danza dance centre in Porto San Giorgio, Italy (2024).
In the 2025/2026 season, he was engaged with the Miskolc Ballet in Miskolc, Hungary, where he performed in the productions Tetemre hívás, Toldi, and Az arany ember.
In 2024, he won 1st place at the International Soloist Talent Award competition in Porto San Giorgio, Italy, with the Golden Idol variation from La Bayadère.
Since the 2026/2027 season, Theo Shirt has been a member of NDM Ballet as corps de ballet with soloist obligations.
