Gianfranco Giordano was born in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy. He trained in dance at the Scuola di Danza del Teatro dell’Opera in Rome (2018-2022) and the Annarella Sanchez International Ballet Conservatory in Leiria, Portugal (2022-2025).
Already during his studies, he gained experience on the professional stage of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, appearing in The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet, choreographed by Giuliano Peparini and Eleonora Abbagnato.
In the 2025/2026 season, he was a member of Balletto di Roma in Rome, where he performed in La dernière danse?, choreographed by Micha van Hoecke; Romeo and Juliet, Otello, and Swan Lake, choreographed by Fabrizio Monteverde; and The Nutcracker, choreographed by Massimiliano Volpini.
Since the 2026/2027 season, Gianfranco Giordano has been a permanent guest artist with NDM Ballet.
