Bergen Wheeler was born in Louisville, United States. He received his first dance training at the Colorado Conservatory of Dance, where he studied from 2008 to 2018. He then continued his studies at Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto (2019-2023) and the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam (2024-2026). During his studies, he took part in the International Ballet Masterclasses in Prague in 2022.
Since the 2026/2027 season, Bergen Wheeler has been a member of NDM Ballet as corps de ballet with soloist obligations.
