Lenka Šustová Hrabovská is a dancer, ballet master, teacher, and assistant choreographer with more than twenty years of professional experience in dance. She began her career as a soloist with the ballet company of the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň, where her roles included Swanilda in Coppélia, Marguerite in Faust, and Mahulena in Radúz and Mahulena.
From 2010 to 2020, Lenka was a member of the National Theatre Ballet in Prague, where she performed as a demi-soloist. During this period, she appeared in a wide range of classical, neoclassical, and contemporary productions. Her repertoire included works by George Balanchine, John Cranko, Frederick Ashton, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, Christopher Bruce, Jacopo Godani, Christian Spuck, Alexander Ekman, and Petr Zuska. Among Lenka’s notable stage appearances were Cécile de Volanges in Valmont and Clara in The Nutcracker.
From 2020, she worked with Prague Chamber Ballet as a soloist, ballet master, and assistant choreographer. There, Lenka collaborated with leading artists and choreographers including Jiří Bubeníček, Petr Zuska, Lidia Wos, Lóránd Zachár, Alena Pešková, and Marek Svobodník, contributing to the preparation of a wide range of contemporary and classical productions.
She also taught classical and folk dance at the Dance Centre Prague conservatoire, where she created a number of choreographic works.
Lenka currently works primarily as a guest teacher and assistant choreographer with ballet companies in the Czech Republic and abroad. She also maintains a close collaboration with the Conservatory of Dance in Japan, where she regularly teaches classes and leads workshops.
In addition, she develops and leads her own projects, ranging from intensive summer courses to specialised workshops for conservatoire students, professional dancers, and the wider public.
Alongside her work in dance, Lenka is also dedicated to yoga and yoga therapy, which she studied at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University. She uses yoga both to cultivate technical assurance, stability, and flexibility, and to support dancers’ long-term health and injury prevention.
