Ava Kinzler was born in Los Angeles, USA. She trained in dance at the California Dance Academy (2012-2022), the San Francisco Ballet School (2022-2025), and the Grainger Academy of the Joffrey Ballet (2025-2026). She also completed summer courses with San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Boston Ballet, as well as at The Royal Ballet School.
During her studies, she worked with San Francisco Ballet, appearing in productions including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Frankenstein, Symphony in C, and other projects. In 2025, she also danced in Christopher Wheeldon’s The Nutcracker at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago.
In 2024, she took part in the Ballet Sun Valley festival. Her competition results include 2nd place at the ADC International Ballet Competition (2022) and 3rd place in the pas de deux category at the Youth America Grand Prix (2021).
Since the 2026/2027 season, Ava Kinzler has been a member of NDM Ballet as corps de ballet with soloist obligations.
