ANTONIO FERRANTE - BIOGRAPHY

Antonio Ferrante was born in Naples, Italy, where he trained in dance at the Fondazione Lyceum Mara Fusco dance academy from 2017 to 2022. He then continued his studies at the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz in Dresden, Germany, from 2022 to 2025.

During his studies, he completed a one-week internship with the German company Ballett am Rhein and a six-week workshop in the Gaga movement language for dancers.

While studying at the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz, he danced in a number of ensemble choreographies, including Dancing with the Audience and Echad Mi Yodea by Ohad Naharin, and in Aaron S. Watkin’s The Sleeping Beauty (in collaboration with Semperoper Ballett). He also performed in Sink Holy on My Heart by Craig Davidson, Join by Ioannis Mandafounis (in collaboration with Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company), Rabbit by Claudio Cangialosi, and Unknown by Giovanni Insaudo.

In the 2025/2026 season, he was an intern with the Theater Magdeburg ballet company, dancing in ensemble scenes of Jörg Mannes’s Ein Sommernachtstraum and Yaron Shamir’s Bolero. He also performed in Drifting Out by Igor Bacovich and Iratxe Ansa.

Since the 2026/2027 season, Antonio Ferrante has been a member of NDM Ballet as corps de ballet with soloist obligations.
