Gentle comedy about virtual loves, working women and house-husbands

The famous play by A.P. Chekhov, Three sisters, has served as an inspiration for a young Czech-Chilean author and her modern view on women’s lives in the third millennium. In the time of the baby-boom, Internet dating sites, working careers and smoking we find ourselves at a celebration of Irene’s name-day to look with a bit of humour, as well as touch of bitterness, at how to find the One and live a happy life. If we don’t redeem the world, we could just redeem ourselves… The play was written for the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre. 
 
The performance has been awarded the Evald Schorm Award 2011
