ROMAN WU - BIOGRAPHY

Born in Chisinau, Moldova, Roman studied at the National Choreography College between 2015 and 2019. He graduated from the Zurich Dance Academy in Switzerland in 2023.

Roman received an honorary degree from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova and a scholarship from the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation for the period 2020-2023. Roman was a 2nd prize winner at the international ballet competition in Odessa and a special prize winner at the international ballet competition Tanzolymp in Berlin in 2017. A year later, he was a finalist at Tanzolymp and the International Baltic Ballet Competition. Roman won the international Young Stars Ballet Competition (YSBC) in Bucharest in 2019, which earned him a scholarship to the Zurich Dance Academy in Switzerland.
