Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Dandara Caetano began her dance training with Balé Jovem de São Vicente (2003–2017) and later continued at Lapidari Centro de Artes (2018–2021). During her studies, she also participated in numerous workshops and summer programs, including the Fórum de Ballet EAB in Praia Grande and the Summer Course Brazil in Indaiatuba.
From 2019 to 2020, Dandara was a member of Cisne Negro Dance Company, where she performed in The Nutcracker. Between 2021 and 2025, Dandara spent four seasons with São Paulo Dance Company under the artistic direction of Inês Bogéa, dancing roles in productions such as La Sylphide, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Anthem.
She has also taken part in several international competitions, earning fourth in the Senior Variation category at Tanzolymp in Berlin and reaching the finals of the Youth America Grand Prix in New York on four occasions. She was named Best Dancer at the Santos Dance Festival and at the Festival do Conselho Brasileiro da Dança.
Since the 2025/2026 season, she has been a member of NDM Ballet as a corps de ballet dancer with soloist obligations.
