Sara Noronha Amoroso was born in Golegã, Portugal. She trained in dance at the Escola de Dança do Conservatório Nacional in Portugal, where she studied from 2014 to 2020. From 2020 to 2022, she continued her studies at The School of the Hamburg Ballet - John Neumeier in Hamburg, performing in Beethoven Dances by John Neumeier and Ruska by Kristian Lever.
She began her professional career with Thüringer Staatsballett in Gera, Germany, where from 2022 to 2024 she performed in Le Sacre du Printemps by Edward Clug, Shōen by Yuri Hamano, Giselle choreographed by Silvana Schröder, Don Quixote choreographed by Mauro de Candia, and Clara in The Nutcracker choreographed by Marco Castillo.
In the 2024/2025 season, she was with Opera Krakowska, dancing in Carmina Burana and as Clara in The Nutcracker, both choreographed by Emil Wesołowski, and in Igraszki miłosne Carmen choreographed by Jacek Tyski.
The following season, she was a member of the Klaipėda State Music Theatre in Lithuania, performing in Cacti by Alexander Ekman, Stabat Mater by Edward Clug, and Bittersweet Paragraphs of Existence and Legenda by Gaj Žmavc.
Since the 2026/2027 season, Sara Noronha Amoroso has been a permanent guest artist with NDM Ballet.
