What’s the connection between Shakespeare’s cruellest and bloodiest tragedy to the current political scene and the omnipresent cult of food? Everyone has their own diet, their own strategy on how to survive in the jungle of unhealthy and junk food. The personal approach to food is introduced in a very familiar and first-hand perspective. Four actors fighting for power, fighting for the attention of the audience as well as their colleagues and fighting about what will be served for dinner. They defend their space and positions in the same way Titus Andronicus defended Rome, even though he lost several sons in the process. Whose recipe will be the best? Whose is the most humane? Who uses sustainable sources? Whose is the most "organic"? And most importantly - who is the most self-sufficient? What’s the scheme hidden beneath each recipe? And what do we desire?
