Nora Helmer enthusiastically decorates the tree and prepares gifts for her children and hus-band. And out of her joy, she secretly enjoys a forbidden macaroon. Mr. Torvald Helmer, a bank manager, threatens her with his finger, “I hope you don’t eat sweets; you know you can-not do that, otherwise you’ll be fat and have a toothache.”  Then he goes into the study. He has important duties to do. Do not disturb! A happy future seems to be as bright as a light-house on the shore of a fjord. If only that pesky Krogstad hadn't kept passing by! What does he still want? He is so scary! What was that letter he dropped in the mailbox? We will open it after the holidays as we do not want to spoil our family’s happiness now! And doctor Rank is the saddest case ever. But as of this day, he is calm and the test results are great. Sure thing. Absolutely. Now let's have some champagne! Happy New Year! The masquerade party is underway! Let's dance the tarantella!
