DOROTTYA FANNI LENGYEL - BIOGRAPHY

Dorottya was born in Budapest, where she received a six-year dance education at the Hungarian Dance Academy from 2014. She continued the Bachelor Dance Artist programme between 2020 and 2023.

Dorottya developed her dance experience by collaborating in ballet productions of the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest. She participated in workshops organized by choreographer Jacopo Godani, the Swiss company Grand Théâtre de Genève, and the Italian company Aterballetto. She attended a number of summer dance courses, including the Amsterdam International Summer School (2022) and the Covent Garden Summer Intensive at the Royal Ballet School in England (2021, 2022).

Dorottya has already shown a strong choreographic talent in her choreographic debut, and she has several shorter choreographies to her credit. She was a 1st prize winner of the international ballet and choreography competition TUTU GRAND PRIX 2022.

Between 2022 and 2023, Dorottya received the Dózsa Imre State Scholarship for her outstanding academic achievements from the budget of the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and Innovation to support her studies in classical ballet.
