ELEN ŠNOBLOVÁ - BIOGRAPHY

Elen was born in Karviná, Czech Republic, and discovered her passion for dance at an early age while attending courses organized by the dance and sports club Radost-Impuls Bohumín. From 2020 to 2024, she pursued her studies in contemporary dance at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, where she continues her undergraduate education.

Elen has received numerous accolades at both national and international dance competitions, excelling in contemporary and jazz dance. She has collaborated with international artists, featuring in professional music videos for I'm Yours by Ewan J Phillips and Slow Motion by Garrett Kato. Her studies included performing Ohad Naharin's choreography Echad Mi Yodea alongside students from a private dance conservatory in Košice, Slovakia.

Following her successful participation in a workshop led by Israeli choreographer Lea Bessoudo Greck, Elen was invited to collaborate with the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre on the opera The Brandenburgers in Bohemia.

During her studies, she enriched her skills through various prestigious courses and workshops. These included internships at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts, and Dance Works in London, as well as programs such as Danza 180 in Madrid, GagaLab in Tel Aviv, Dance Without Limits, and Share Intensive Crystal Pite with Jiří Pokorný in Berlin.

Elen’s dedication to dance extends to teaching. She has led classes at the dance and sports club Radost-Impuls Bohumín, public courses at hbDance Studios in Prague, and workshops with the dance group Coda in Tábor. In July 2024, she taught at the international workshop called The Hope's Intensive and with a Polish dance ensemble in Krakow.

For the 2024/2025 season, Elen became a permanent guest of the NDM Ballet and also took on a teaching role at the NDM Ballet Studio.
