In addition to plates of sardines, the author serves us a large portion of humour in a play that requires an acting gig. One of the funniest situation comedies ever written lays bare the backstage of a theatre rehearsal. It's the last night's dress rehearsal before the opening night and nothing is going right. The actors don't remember lines, arrive on stage earlier than they're supposed to, and forget to bring and take props. Moreover, the farce counts on the characters constantly passing each other at the door; but what if the door won't open? No wonder the director is edgy. It is no fun to stage a brilliant farce! Let’s see the whole series of comic situations from the theatre backstage, full of funny and surprising twists, confusions, and mishaps. At the same time, new character layers of the performers are gradually peeled away, revealing the complex personal and relationship problems of each actor.
