Four young people set against the backdrop of a modern city. By chance, the idealistic Warren crosses paths with Deb, a neurotic graduate student who has lost all the notes for her thesis. Although their lives and interests could hardly be more different, both are forced to confront the same unsettling question: why is it so hard to find one’s place in life? The more experienced pair, Jason and Claire, seem more at home in the rhythm of New York, but their attempt to move in together and take their relationship to the next stage brings unexpected complications of its own. A handful of seemingly ordinary days in the lives of people absorbed by their own worries, doubts, and neuroses. But what happens when the rush of everyday life is interrupted by chance encounters and a touch of visual art?
Since its premiere, this much-loved chamber musical has travelled across several continents, and will now be presented in the Czech Republic for the first time.
