The Artistic Director Lenka Dřímalová announces auditions to recruit new members of the ballet company of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre for the 2026/2027 season

We are looking for professional dancers with outstanding technique (classical and modern), and stage experience for the following positions:
 
- soloist (male, female)
- corps de ballet with soloist obligations (male, female)
- young dancers for the position of "apprentice" (male, female)
 
Required height: female dancers 163 - 168 cm, male dancers 175 - 183 cm.
We are looking for candidates who can start work in Ostrava from 10th August 2026.
 
Audition date: 1st March 2026 in Ostrava, Czech Republic

•    Giselle (choreography Andrea Kramešová) - scheduled premiere in November 2026

Modern and Contemporary:
•    Carmen (choreography by Jiří Pokorný – trailer)
•    Hora (choreography by Ohad Naharin - trailer)
•    More than Mozart! (choreography by Jiří Kylián, Anjelin Prejlocaj, Eric Gauthier, Lea Beesoudo Greck) – scheduled premiere in March 2026
•    Babylon ballet (choreography by Rei Masatom, Natalia Adamska) – scheduled premiere in June 2026
•    Composed evening (choreography Marco Goecke – 2 pieces; one more choreography) – scheduled premiere in April 2027
