This Czech comedy written over a hundred years ago will be a great surprise for you. If you have an illusion about “good old days”, you will find out that business and politics have always been connected, not to mention love and business.

Small-town characters of Václav Štech have much to say to today’s election campaigns, intrigues, and innocent opportunism, which will make you laugh and shiver at the same time. In their own humorous way, the characters refer to today’s much more developed democratic practices.
