After passing a school-leaving exam at the Grammar School in Silesian Ostrava, he started to study at the State Conservatory in Ostrava. After finishing this school, he worked as a soloist of the drama company in the Těšín Theatre for ten years. In the following year, he became a soloist of the operetta company of The State Theatre Ostrava (today’s The National Moravian-Silesian Theatre) but he still guest-starred in Těšín. Between 2001 and 2004, he had an engagement both in the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre and in the Těšín Theatre, finally, he returned to the operetta company of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre where he performs up to now.
During his long-time engagement in the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre he has created a range of title and supporting roles both in operettas and musicals (recently e.g. teacher Kulíšek in Clochemerle, Sir Osgood Fielding – Sugar/Some Like It Hot, Rudolph in Hello, Dolly!, Cardinal Richelieu – The Three Musketeers, Dr. Blind – The Bat, Pedro – The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Choreographer – Marguerite, Sheriff Malon – Rose Marie, Burgrave Ješek of Wartenberg - A Night at Karlstein, Maršálek – Finian’s Rainbow, Baba Jaga – The Father Frost, head waiter Miska – The Gypsy Princess, Jacob – Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Innkeeper – The Phantom of London).
Ocasionally, he appears as a guest in the drama company of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (police officer Bouda - A Ballad for a Bandit, Petr Poříz – A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and in the opera company of the same theatre (Music master - Ariadne on Naxos).
