This is a dramatization of one of the most significant novels about Ostrava, and it tells stories of citizens living in this multinational city in a very original way, using a football club history. The football history in Ostrava is not just related with the Bazaly stadium, and it begins in the Silesian Kamenec, near which Ota Filip grew up. Together with football players of FC Slezská Ostrava (today’s FC Baník Ostrava), we are going to experience fundamental moments of the modern history—the period of the First Republic, Nazism, communism, Prague Spring, normalization. Czechs, Poles, people from “Prajzská” region, and Jews. This all is seen through the eyes of the main character who has the ability to fly and talk to the dead. It is a magnificent theatre that is as amusing as cruel. Same as the time of which he speaks.
