“I consider Bohuslav Martinů’s Piano Concerto No. 1 a hidden gem. It is a work rich in texture and innovation, yet profoundly dance-like and urgent. It possesses a sense of soaring freedom, playfulness, and emotional depth, all while maintaining a solid structure that serves as a guiding force.
For me, this piece is an ongoing dialogue—a form of communication that bridges diverse ideas, communities, and art forms through music and movement. It is a kind of alchemy, where seemingly unrelated elements are combined, exposed to creative heat, and transformed into something entirely new—an unexpected yet captivating fusion of flavours.”
